Morning, Visiting of Kumarakom bird sanctuary and drift wood museum.Check in the house boat around 12noon at
Kumarakom.House boat cruise through the backwaters of Kumarakom and Alleppey.The cruise covers Vembanad lake, R Block, C Block ( man made
islands in
the middle of vembanad lake where paddy is cultivated below the sea level), rice fields, Punnamada lake ( venue of the famous Nehru Trophy boat race), lush green shores etc..
Evening, reaching at Alleppey by house boat and hanger the boat for the night halt.
Overnight stay in house boat.
Optional activities:
Visiting of Alleppey beach which is 8 Km away from the house boat
hanger area.
Motor boat cruise through the narrow rivers in Alleppey to visit the
typical Kerala Villages.
